Hi Guys I'm from Philippines 23 yrs old, I'm diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse since I was 17 yrs old. I start going to gym since i was 20 yrs. I'm not smoking but I'm a mild alcoholic, 2-3 days in a week of drinking beer with 2-3 bottles a day but i stop it since 1 month from now.. Now my problem is last February I'm having a symptoms that changes my everyday life, here's the symptoms :
* Sensitive to lights specially at night
* Derealization (Unsteady feeling)
* My eye floaters become more disturbing
* Feelings that there's a mucus stuck in my chest.
* Mild right chest pain ( specially when inhaling)
* Stuffy nose in one side only
* Obsession about sensations or getting better
* Easily feels Cold or Chill
Now my problem is I always thinking about this everyday or maybe want to get this symptoms go away.. Is this can be a cause of mitral valve prolapse, anxiety , brain disease or some other illness?
This is the latest echo result done last march 22, 2010.

2. Normal left atrium without intracardiac thrombus
3. Normal right atrium, right ventricle, main pulmonary artery and aortic root dimensions.
4. The anterior mitral valve leaflet prolapses into the left atrium during ventricular systole.
5. Structurally normal aortic valve, tricuspid valve and pulmonic valve.
6. No pericardial effusion noted.
COLOR FLOW DOPPLER STUDY:

Hoping for some help.. I'm almost 3 months struggling with those symptoms..
I think that you need to go to your cardiologist asap. It might be nothing, but if you already have heart problems you should get checked out, I don't know why your posting questions on here instead of calling your doc.
