Your dad needs to go see his primary care doctor. He may have been experiencing angina. If it was, it was the bodies way of telling him there is a problem. If he broke out in a sweat, felt nauseated or had pain down either of his arms, but mostly left, it is usually cardiac. An anxiety attack can also cause chest pain as well, but he would be better off to see his doctor to rule out any cardiac pathology and go from there. Men tend to be hard headed and brush things off, thinking they will go away; but if it has happened multiple times and sounds like it should be evaluated further. |

your dad needs to get to the ER if they did a EKG and it didn't show anything doesn't mean a thing if you have more than one blockages most likely it won't show on a EKG he needs to go to the hospital and let them determine if he needs a heart carth. |
