If you gained about 15.5 pounds, you'd be overweight.
You don't need to lose any weight. Honestly. I'm 13 and
I weight 113lbs. That's 10+ from last year. Girls and guys
are under a lot of pressure due to the media and advertising,

I don't think you're fat. Do you feel comfortable with yourself? This is a question you should ask your mom about or your doctor. It doesn't sound like you should diet at all. Eat well, exercise for about 30 minutes a day, drink plenty of water, and you can pretty much have an ice cream cone with your friends once in a while, or go out for pizza without having to worry. Enjoy being 16!! |

I'm 5,5 and I weigh 120 and lemme tell ya, I am pretty skinny.
Especially if you have breasts, its not fat.
If YOU feel like you want to get into better shape, start eating healthier, start walking/riding your bike places (save gas $!), try to find something fun that will keep your attention and keep you active.

Are you male or female? As a female at your height your weight also depends on your structure. Realizing at 16 yrs of age you still have some growing to do as well. Proper diet and exercise will keep you balanced.
Just remember never diet before the age of 20 for a girl as your body will lose bone density, calcium and other important nutrients needed to continue growing.
Be happy with you and find yourself without allowing others to define you.
