Whats the point of being scared of something thats gonna happen whether you like it or not... If you live life scared of death then your just gonna get depressed. |

Yah and Nah, i'm waiting for a call from the big reaper man all the time but he ain't got back to me.
its more how i'm gonna die that scares me really, i don't wanna die old or be killed by some disease, i wanna die for a cause or doing something i love doing.
growing old is what scares me the most though |

I am of the opinion that when you are born you are given so many heartbeats and when they are up there up and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
I would just like ti die in my sleep that way I wouldn't have to bear some horrific death. THAT IS MY WORST FEAR. |

no. i know that there is more to life than this. death is just the next step. we're only here for a little while, and you never know when your time will be. so i guess just live life to it's fullest, trust in God, He knows best, and live! |

when I feel afraid of death its a symptom that I am feeling very depressed. When I am not depressed death doesnt scare me, not half as much if at all as I am too aware of the present, when I am alone and not able to cope and my mood drops, suddently death scares me.
I think if your afraid of death you need to speak to someone as its a symptom of an underlying issue. |

You are looking at death all wrong! Think of it as going on holiday on your own for the first time, ...scared and very nervous, ...but once you are on your way things get better and you leave all your troubles behind you. In the meantime, forget about death and enjoy life.
As you get older you will start to realise that there has got to be life after death, ...or there is no point in life in the first place.
Death is like falling asleep, we all do it and we aren't frightened to nod off. None of us are sure we are going to wake up, but we still go to sleep because we like it.
Perhaps when we do finally become deceased we cross over to another parallel world which is identical to this one and life goes on as normal.
I personally have twice survived drownings, ...been beaten and kicked unconscious by rampaging gangs, ...blown up, ...and fell of a roof.
I am not a lucky person, because if I was, these things would not have happened to me, but because they did and I survived, I am no longer frightened of death, ...after all, it can't be that bad if nobody wants to come back to life.
Be happy, ...enjoy life while you can! |

No, I have seen the difference that comes over someones body when they die, my aunt had cancer and was being given so much medication that she was unconcious for a long time but she still looked in distress, when the moment came she looked so relaxed and happy. That changed my views on dying. |

No. If the day comes that I die I won't freak. If I fine I have some sort of thing like cancer that is going to kill me then I won't break down or cry or whatever. I'll just make the most of my time. I'll go say sorry to people I might of hurt, I'll go things I never got to do. and other stuff. But if I have a choice in the matter of my deaf then I'll do something. Like if some is going to kill me then I will go what I can so I won't die. |

From the moment your born you are dying it's a certainty. Your born You live and then You die. It is like people are saying it's how you die. But at least your alive |

I try not to think about it too much as yes, the idea scares me! With anything else in life (pregnancy, periods etc.) you can tell yourself, "well, it can't be that awful or people wouldn't do it again" or "those people survive it so it can't be all that bad". However, with death you have no idea.
I've heard people say that you can only take so much pain before you black out. It's a coping mechanism. I find it comforting to know that when I die, it won't be too painful as I'll black out first. I guess thats more my worry. The fact that it's gonna hurt. |

no, it is the only certainty in life. i'm more worried about life as i don't know what is going to happen.
think on this, the second you are born is the second you start to die as with every heart beat you are one heart beat closer to death. |

No, I am not afraid to die.
When I die, I will be at the right hand of my Father in paradise forever.
You can be, too.
All you need to do as accept Jesus' free gift of salvation. |
