i have depression, im doing all the right steps etc, the thing is i keep isolating myself, i dont wanna go out with my mates and just have a laugh, i cant find the motavation to do it? its upsetting but i cant do it! any ideas? only 18yrs old
I have the same problem, and have had it all my life since I was a small child. I am in my mid-30's now. I also isolate myself. It is hard to find the motivation to do a lot of things. The only way to do things is to just do it. I know that this may sound a bit too simple, but that is just the way it is. Once you start forcing yourself to get out and do things, you will gradually start to feel better. Good luck!
