Which optical lenses suits me best ?
I am a computer professional & generally works 6-8 hrs a day on computer. I do not have any sight, but I want to protect my eyes from any rays that might be coming out of the monitor. Which lenses suits for this ?
See an eye Dr. Your distant vision may be fine, but being on a computer for that amount of time makes the eye strain. Stay away from polycarbonate lens, they have a lot of distortion. I do agree about using an anti-glare coating, that's the best thing to put on the lens. You may even consider tinting a lens using a rose color lens along with the anti-glare coating.

Most computer monitors have uv protection and have for a long time. Unless you are on a really really old monitor, you are most likely quite fine. Without vision, you might consider a polycarbonate lense that has scratch protection, Uv protection and is lighter weight than regular plastic. Next tiem you go to your eye doctor, ask them about what kind of protection you should have for this as they know your eye's needs better.
