OK I'm 13 y/o and I have noticed that things about 10 feet away are difficult to read. I can read psters fine but when my teachers right soomething in Marker on the whiteboard it just looks blurry. I've only noticed this in the last 2 weeks. I know my dad's booking an eye appointment but do you think it is something worth looking at?
well maybe you need reading glasses, you dont need a prescription for them and you can buy them at your grocery store, just try them on and see if it makes a difference in your vision and just buy them and wear them whenever you need to read something

If you've never had an eye exam, it may surprise you. My 11 year old daughter didn't even know she couldn't see well until I took her to the doctor. After all, if you've never seen the world clearly, how would you know there's a problem.

Given that you often have cases of having to read something that far away (i.e. class, and plenty more years of classes to come), I would suggest yes an appointment is a good idea.
If anything, hopefully you won't even have the need to wear them all the time, just for reading far away and driving when you get older. You'd probably eventually end up wearing glasses all the time, but if it's only stuff 10 feet a way, you probably have a long time before that.
P.S. It's not going to be cheap reading glasses unfortunately...those are for only close up problems.

I would get the eye exam!
It may not be your vision at all! Alot of times when people have a lack of sleep they tend to see things blurry!

You have become a little bit nearsighted. You'll likely leave your appointment with a prescription for glasses. Most people are amazed at how much better they can see with glasses, so it's definitely worth the appointment. Even if you choose to not wear your glasses all the time, you apparently will need them sometimes at school, so it's good that your dad is going to take you.
Usually, vision changes gradually with growth. If you're noticing the change over a couple of weeks, you may have hit a growth spurt. Or, you may have just hit a situation where you're noticing that your vision isn't up to par. Unfortunately, your vision will probably get worse as you continue to grow such that you'll need a new prescription within a year or two.
