Even if you are getting contacts you have to go to an eye dr to get a rx. This is because of the health of your eyes. You can get colored cls from your eye dr that has no rx in them. If you wear them correctly they won't damage your eyes and they can't permanently change the color of your eyes

It's illegal for stores to sell "over the counter" contact lenses. You have to have an eye exam first, even if you have 20/20 vision. You can order the lenses right at your doctor's office.
