I woke up this morning and they were crusted over. Vision was blurred in the right eye and I almost couldn't see at all in the left. I was really sick the past week (I think the flu) and am just recovering. I do have a bad sinus infection I think but have had it for awhile now. Sounds like conjunctivitis...aka Pink eye, but your Doc needs to check it out...Use precaution and be sanitary until you see the doc and make sure you're not touching your eye alot. Wash your hands frequently. Pink eye is very contagious. Feel better soon!

Your sinus infection backed up into your eyes through the tear ducts. That's how your eyes got infected. Your nose and eyes are connected. Or you could have touched near your eyes after touching or blowing your nose. Keep your lids clean by using hot compresses during the day. And wash your hands a lot in the future when you are sick. Go to the eye doctor and they will give you some antibiotic eye drops to use for a week or so.

Your eyes have a natural tear film that is made of oil, mucus, and water. The blurred VA sounds like you have an excess of mucus due to the infection in your body. You need to see an eye doctor. Your eyes are surrounded by sinus cavities and the infection you have, is affecting your eyes. You need an eye drop to treat the eyes, your oral meds won't work.

It's probably nothing, however I would mention this to my doctor. Eyesight is too valuable.
I'm not a doctor, but I think you may have a case of pink eye. That's an infection in the eye. A doctor can tell for sure.
