It usually happens to people who didn't get enough sleep. I know how you feel, tho, I friggin' hate that.

Do you wear contact lenses? If you do the twitching might be due to the brand or type of lenses your are wearing. If it is due to the lenses ask your doctor to change the brand or type.

It happens to me too. I notice it when I am stressed or have not had enough sleep. It hasn't happened to me for a while since I don't have to work in the summer! I'm relaxed and happy. ;0)
So I would just lie down and try to zone out and relax for a while.
