For about 3 years I have been concentrating on things with one eye.What I am saying that one of my eyes go to the side when I am looking at people, or things and it looks like i am not looking at them! If you are absolutely sure it is not a lazy eye-- some people alternate fixation-- sounds like what you are doing-- you have to see someone expert in eye movements.
See your doctor, and if he cannot figure it out, he will probably send you to a neurologist or neuro-ophthamologist, if there is one in your area.

My son does the same thing. His right eye looks over to the side when he looks at something/someone. He has something called extropia. It doesn't really effect his sight, though the eye doctor said that when he learns how to read (he's 3) he may have a little problems with concentration. The doc also said that a lot of pro ball players have the same thing and it actually helps them. The doc says that my son will be fine and it may even improve with certain excercises.

iunno but i have a problem similar where if i focus to hard on what someone is saying to me i tune them out. It's not on purpose it just happens. So that afterwards I have to ask what about a few times. lol
I don't think it's that big of a deal and everyone has their problems. No one's perfect it's what makes us human.

as far as understand you have stigmatism, and your urgently need to go to the eye doctor to do a general test and specifically stigmatism.
you mentioned that you went to a doctor?? is he an actor doctor??? i cannot even believe a doctor would spot whats wrong with your eyes.
