it might be because you have slow metabollism..to quicken your metabollism you could try eating celery or drinking flavored water...you are only going to sixth grade so it doesn't matter for your age if you weigh that much unless the doctor said so...i think its fine...when you start grwoing you are obviously going to change. too young to worry gal

First of all, it is very bad if you eat when you are bored.
Everyone does it. You must find something to do. You have to learn to only eat when you are hungry. One thing I have heard is that sometimes we mistake being hungry for really being thirsty so try to drink more water. Become more active. Go for walks or jogs. Pay attention to how you feel. Don't work too hard. Get some hobbies/activities that you like to do. Be more curious, ask more questions. Stop before you grab that snack if you aren't really hungry. Start thinking more about how you feel after you eat something that you really didn't want. Now it's a great time for you to start trying to develop healthier habits that will serve you well. Don't worry if it takes time to get it down. It will and it's not a big deal. Just keep on trying. Best of luck to you. |

It's probably just a growth spurt. You will eat more as you grow. Just make sure that you keep eating good and exercising. You didn't tell us how tall you are but i'm sure that you aren't fat and it sounds like you are healthy. |

The reason you are not losign weight is because you don't need to. You are an ideal weight for your age and so your body isn't allowing you to lose weight. Stop trying to, because it is important at your age that you grow. Have fun and be a kid. |

make sure you don't eat refined sugar. eat natural sugars that are in fruits and stuff and only eat wheat flour. no candy no soda! that's what makes you fat. ya it can be bad eating when you are bored. if you're bored than you should go outside or play with a friend or your dog or something. do something to keep yourself busy. you can go to this website and it will tell you if you are overweight by checking your BMI (body mass index)

if your diet is good and you exercise regularly, then i highly doubt that you are fat . . . you may have started puberty earlier than your peers, and gaining weight is a part of puberty, so you really can't compare the weight of someone who hasn't started puberty with the weight of someone who has started puberty, even if they are the same age and height |

You are only in the 6th grade. You should not be on a diet!!! Unless a medical professional put you on a weight loss plan, there is no reason why you should be trying to lose weight. You are young and your body is still growing!! You just need to eat a lot of healthy food and have a good time playing with your friends at recess. |

Ive dealt with this my whole life - I was the biggest kid in every grade up until my sophomore year in high school. It could be a lot of things - but you have to learn to be comfortable with who you are, and not let worrying about weather or not you're fat get in the way of your happiness. You could have really big bone structure, which will already make you bigger than other people. From what I remember I was about your weight in 6th grade, and it took some time but I "evened out", I'm in no way tiny...but I feel much better about my body image now than I did then. |

don't worry, most boys your age are heavy, it'll go away in a few years if you keep running and eating right. i used to be 4ft 9 and 125 pounds in 6th grade, now i'm going into 9th and i'm 5'3 and 110 pounds. most of my friends were big at that age too. when you hit a growth spirt you'll slim down. |

First, we need to know your height to know if you are overweight.
Next, eating when bored is a bad thing, yes. Eat when you are hungry. Boredom eating is a common cause of people being overweight.
You don't want to "loose" weight, you want to "lose" it (loose is when your pants don't fit tight). Apparently you aren't dieting and exercising or you wouldn't be overweight (if you are...we don't know that). However, you're only about 11 yrs old and have a lot of growing left to do so I wouldn't worry much about it. You'll grow into your weight so unless you are obese (and at 115 lbs you'd have to be about 3 ft tall for that to be the case) I wouldn't stress over it... |

Well, how tall are you? You sound only a little over average, but it does all depend on the height, I would also say that you have a slow metabolism. Sorry about that. My sister does too. She is 4 10', 104. If you are a very muscly than your weight is more average. I would suggest doing fifty crunches before you go to bed each night, and eating a whole lot of carrots and cucumbers!!

just slow down on fast foods and candy don't eat before you go to bed if you need to drink juice like tomato grape juice and water walk a lot or ride a bike eat four good meals and just one helping and don't snack in between drink water before you eat your meal it will make you feel full |
