I want somethign sweet but don't want to ruin my diet?
Has anyone got any good recipes for a really nice dessert, but one which won't add on too many calories? And how do other people deal with their sweet tooth when they're trying to lose weight?
Buy some of those diet shakes, they come in a lot of flavors.

Oh boy, oh boy, do I sympathize with you! I have mastered this one but it has taken a bit of getting used to, I'm afraid. I eat sugar free jelly. Give it a try - you will get so used to it that you will come to accept it and even start to enjoy it.

Meringues are a decent dessert if fruit won't do it for you and you want some crunch. For only about 80 kCal you can have a plain non-fat yogurt and add sucralose to it to make it as sweet as you want. There are also sugar-free gelatin dessert cups which are very low in calories.
I'm personally better off just saying "no" to all sweet tastes than picking and choosing, but these help if you feel the need for sweet and don't want to load on the calories.

Have you ever had one of those 100 calorie pack snacks?! We have a variety of them at our house and they are proportioned into 100 calories a piece, they have oreos, cookies, thin mint tasting ones and a bunch of others. They're so good, that's what i would recommend

I just cut up some fruits and put them in a bowl.
Easy and sweet.

i heard that grapes contain the same thing that you crave for in chocolate
try freezing a banana
of the sugar free jelly that you can but make it in to ice lollies in the freezer, taste lovely i suppose you can add fruit to them
but no is the best thing because once you have 1 bite of sweetness your body needs more

Make a thick smoothie with fruit and pour over low fat icecream, or just have icecream and fruit.
Or, make a sorbet - blend fruit (any kind), stir in a few tsps sherry or martini or similar, and freeze, stirring occasionally.
If you prefer a hot desert, press some muesli or crunchy cereal into the bottom of a small bowl, slice and cook some cooking apples, sprinkle with more cereal, top with low fat yoghurt or icecream, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Just have something sweet, if you like honey have a tablespoon of honey, i used to eat jelly babies and that helped me getting over it. Go for it, little bit won't kill you.:)

Well it really depends on what is allowed on your diet. Some diets allow fruits, so you could have a sweet mango or strawberries with cool whip (non fat). You could also try the 100 calorie packs the have Oreos!. You could also try some sugarless Jello or pudding.
Good luck with your diet!!

Mix together some applesauce to fat free Cool Whip and cinnamon..it makes what taste like an apple mousse.
Or sometimes those sugar-free jello pudding cups hit the spot.
I found instead of completely depriving yourself, have a small treat. Down here, Publix has really good sugar free icecream, and it's low fat too, so I don't feel guilty when I give into the craving.

Try some of the 100-calorie snack packs. I guess it's just a trial and error of what you like and how good it tastes to you, but I really enjoy the 100 calories Hostess mini cakes, they taste just like the original. Also, I'm not sure how many calories you want to use for your snack but I really like the Fiber One Bars, Oats & Chocolate and Oats & Carmel are really yummy plus they give you a good portion of fiber for the day!
