Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

When it comes to your health, absolutely not, but it's up to you whether you think you look overweight. I am also petite and have a small frame so when I put on a few pounds it's very noticeable. It's not so much how much you weigh, but how you carry it. You can be a light-weight, but still have a high body fat percentage and look unhealthy.
As far as your health goes, your BMI is in the perfect range. It comes out to 21.4. The categories follow:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As far as a "healthy weight", that's what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc).... but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.

depends on your bone structure and frame. the best thing to do is to use a bmi calculator(google search and you will find some) this will tell you if you are in a healthy range, over or under weight.

Depends on your build - are you slightly built, or do you have bigger bones! Either way, 117 lbs. is hardly heavy. Even at 5'-2" . Just watch your weight and you will be fine.
