my friend's kid punched a kitchen door and broke his arm. so, yes, you can. |
|
Flora
|
Sure you can. But you probably already knew that huh? Hurts like hell doesn't it? Ice it down, get to the doctor for some xrays.
When you're all healed up, invest in a punching bag and some gloves. These are excellent for venting anger (and softer than walls) |

Duh - Yeah!
Although methinks the real question is "I've just punched a wall - Aren't I thick?" |

Depends on how hard you punch and what kind of wall, if it is brick then you probably would, if it is plasterboard you would put your fist through it, Give it a go...... |

Dr Frank
|
Yep, I have seen a number of patients break more that one metacarpal that way! |

Mrs taffy36

depends on how hard you hit the wall, why did you hit the wall in the first place? wot it do to you? |
|
Dennis R
|
Uh...yeah!...its called a boxer's fracture (go figure how they named it). You would break one of your metacarpals, typically the fifth one. |

maybe you can break the wall...

Definitely! Walls are solid! if you think you have a broken bone try to keep your hand still and go to the gospital. if you have a broken finger strap it to the next finger along to support it and then go to the hospital. |

Yes. I've done it. You can break your hand punching anything. You can also hurt your wrist if it rolls on impact. Ice it down and go to the doctor to get an x-ray. It's an urban myth that you can't move whatever is broken, so it's best to get checked out by a doctor. |

Hunny
