Wash it out real good with peroxide, put on some neosporin and then a band aid.

i assume that you think it is not deep enough to need stitches.
if that is the case, applying bacitracin will help prevent infection. make sure you clean it daily and check to make sure it is not red, warm or painful. If it is showing any of these signs of infection, visit your local urgent care center or dr.
when washing wounds never use peroxide. it breaks down cells. only use soap and water

You have done everything you needed to do. Keep it clean and change the bandage when you need to. How did you do that, palette knifes are supposed to be dull...be careful.

Just be sure to keep it clean and if any signs of infection arise see your doctor right away. Good job on the tetanus!!

Since you've had the tetanus shot recently you're covered from that point of view. Keep the wound as clean as you can using basic antiseptics you can buy from any supermarket/chemist. Try to let the wound breathe at night times and keep it covered during the day to protect it. If it's very deep- i.e looks like a gaping mouth, if you dont want a bad scar it's best to get a few stitches. If it's not too deep you should be fine.
Just be on the lookout for signs of infection, red, hot, swollen, pus etc and it'll be okay.
