Oh honey, I wanna so badly hug you right now and take you out for coffee. I have had to deal with depression as well and here are a few steps you can take to help you get to a more happier state.

1. Talk to someone- whether it's a pastor, a counselor, or even a trusting friend or family member you need to get those feelings out in the open to find the answers you need. Plus it's always good to just vent.

2. Write in a journal- I know diaries sound silly an childish, but usually counselors recommend you keep one so you can again get the feelings out. Bring out your artistic side even and add sketches to it that keeps you busy and brings forth some artistic talent.

3. Write a song- Music is very emotional, I mean what do you hear on all the songs out there? Songs of love and heartache, songs of hatred and bitterness (aka most heavy metal songs)...get out that music artist in you, heck start a band if you like.

4. Go to the doctors- Depression is a fact of life you shouldn't be ashamed to at least get a look into some medicine to help lessen the feelings.

5. SUICIDE is never the right reason- I'm sure the 'victims' of suicide if they came back would tell you it was the wrong choice. No matter how low you feel, keep in mind you are loved by many...and your future is full of more loved ones that would never get to know your love if you decided to pass away so soon.

6. Keep busy- That's what they tell you when you are going through a breakup or some other horrible thing in life, busy keeps your mind out of idling in thought of what is bothering you, which keeps depression a step or two behind you. Whether its enjoying life hobbies or working, keep your mind from idling into the self pity land. It's what's helping me with dealing with the separation soon to divorce my husband being left with one kid depression.

iam you now so in pain but ur grabbed me to help you i bet your a wonderful person who in turn can help others these things happen i dont know the reason for you me its my health but to know ireaced out and help u would mean the world to me to say you want help is a giant step call a friend a crisis center once your gone you cant come back and ppl with sucide that came back said its horrid the limbo your here for a reason trust me on this plz let me know if i helped ill be checking all nite get wee be at peace

your not alone, i feel the same way for almost 10 years even right now and i have plenty of bruises and injuries for my past attempts of suicide. if i were you i wont do it unless your "really" sure about it cause it aint gonna be pretty

No you dont, no you dont, no you dont. Listen, as bad as life gets NEVER amount to hurting yourself. Honestly, what did your body do to you? Dont take your feelings out on it, express yourself whatever way you can. A diary, poetry, art and so on. If you did kill yourself think of how bad youll make others feel. Hurting yourself only causes more problems, not solves the ones you already have. Dont do anything you may regret. best of luck<3

i really dont know :( cause i feel the same way everyday ive been through so much that i dont think anyone would understand my pain so i hide it and never tell anyone about it so im sorry i cant be of much help but ur not alone trust me :(

Sounds like you rally ned help. I wanted to kill myself for along time and still do. But mykids need me and I'm not going to give up on them. Just find something thats worth living for and hol on to it. Good luck

Its okay ,dont fret !! things could have been much WORSE , believe me.

Just postpone that idea for a few weeks

Want to try something DIFFERENT ???
just do the following RIGHT NOW ;

1--chant OM (OM as in HOME but without the 'H')repeatedly,forget everything just do it NOW !!!!!!!
doing this for 5-10 mins will give a sense of power within you!!!

if you find this useful let me know ,i will tell you a more stronger method.

note: women durimg their periods are not to chant OM but they can chant HARI

almost everyone has felt this way at one time. alot of us feel this way a few times a month. One thing I do is try to get alot of exercise. If that dont' work for you there is another thing you have to remember that I always tell myself. I may have failed at alot of things in life. I will learn from my mistakes. But, one thing I will refuse to fail at in life is life itself. once it's over its over. when you give up on life you have given up on everything which is really not necessary. I won't leave this world a failure. I will rectify what I need to be happy

YOu need to change what you don't like about your self, or change what ever the problem is, or you will just keep going through this cycle. I know this because i'm weak and i haven't been able to change my life after 10 years of feeling this way, so I'm killing myself in january. If i would have realised that wouldn't change my self that i would still be this way, i would have killed myself way back when. Change now. Don't put it off. Start trying and maybe you can get better.

I used to feel that way and i used to cut. My advice is to see someone to talk to.
Go to your school counselor talk to them for a start then they can probs give you some names and numbers of proffesional psychiatrist and they can help.
NEVER DO IT!!!

You need to see your doctor right away. They can refer you to a specialist and get you some help, therapy and/or medication. I know that some days are really bad and you think it would just be better if you were gone, but there will be good days, trust me. Please talk to someone right away. There are people who care about you.

You may have real clinical depression. Maybe your chemicals are out of whack. Clinical depression is treatable. Talk to somebody and don't be vague. Tell them how very depressed you are. Tell them you were thinking of suicide. If you are really depressed and you can't shake it, see a doctor or therapist. It's easy. They've heard it before. Tell them you're running on empty, not functioning, and you've thought of killing yourself. They can help you out of it.

Do something physical. Get out of the house. Go hear some music (maybe not Country). Do some routine chores. Take care of one thing you've put off. Help someone. Go for a walk or a hike somewhere. Run as far as you can. Cry. Scream. Yell as loud as you can. All these can help you.

I've felt the same way most of my life. It's a terrible feeling when you feel the urge to harm yourself. I didn't cut; I burned myself with cigarettes. The problems you are having didn't pop up overnight, the fix for them won't come in an hour's session-even if it were Dr. Phil. Somewhere, sometime, you've been hurt very badly, and it can take a long time to recover from these feelings of worthlessness and guilt. You are every bit as valuable as any other human being on this planet, and it would be a damn tragedy if you acted on this feeling. PLEASE go back to a therapist to be evaluated, but you need to stick with it for as long as it takes. I hope and pray that you will be able to see your worth as a human being and make the investment in yourself. Good luck.

See your doctor! It may be a hormonal or chemical imbalance. I feel the same way sometimes. I've even noticed that my diet can affect it. Seriously, see your doctor and mention anything else going on, such as stress, loosing or gaining weight, headaches.

i don't know what the source of your anguish is but, i went through a horrific thing when i was 15 and i started cutting myself after that....it really helped the way that I felt until i realized that i was really hurting myself....i surrounded myself with friends and family and i don't know if you believe in God or not, but i do, and i realized that he wasn't the source of my problems but that he offered the solution...i hope that helps a little at least

I've been in your situation,
You'll be okay. I promise. You have to know there is things out there for you to do, accomplish and over come. I know you'll make it through. Especially if i have. You have a lot going for you, and you can do. You can do anything you set your mind to.

You need a friend for one thing, a true friend.
And you need to call a suicide hotline, whether
you've actually thought about suicide or not.

its good that you stopped self harming yourself and im veryyy proud of you..
please dont go back to that because there are better ways to deal with your problems like talk to anyone
think of all the good things in your life and dont say that there arent any because there are tons,and the most important ones are your family and your friends who all care about you the most ,probably more than you think. and think of how their lives will change and how much they would suffer if you did that to yourself. not that its all about them this is about you..but ur family is a big part of you
try reallyy hard to look forward to things like vacations with so many memories and laughs and beings idiots with ur bffffffffls and think of all the other fun times you've had with them and hopefully you want many more to come...so look forward to that
