Buying coloured contacts?
I have bright green eyes with hazel in the middle and i want some blue contacts.
Ive heard freshlook are good, i just want to wear them rarely too because my eye sight is fine.
in the uk ,specsavers they are £59 and last for 6 months.
but if i dont take them out of there containers will they last more?
Ive heard of the freshlook 1 day ones too that are suppose to be £12? but that seems cheap.
also when your at the opticians do they check your eyes then give you the contacts or can you just buy them from anywhere??? thanks
I used the freshlook ones and i would normally use regular contact. I bought the monthly ones they are ok but not as good of quality as the normal ones and i wouldn't wear more than once or twice a week. I bought mine in ireland for around 30 euro. I would advise that you went to a optician because they will show you how to put them in it can be quite tricky if you are not used of putting them in . also I would recommend going to a non multinational to deal with anything with your eyes . multinationals seem to be very focused on making money and not so much about the condition of your eyes.

Your eyes sound like they are a really great colour already, why do you want to cover them up? Anyway I've seen these contacts in a variety of shops other than opticians, mostly they have been on sale in tatooists but you may want to get your eyes tested first to make sure that you are okay to wear these

I wouldn't use the contacts if they get out of date before you are finished wearing them. There is an expiration date that will be on the box, and also on each individually packaged contact lens. Don't ever use them if they are past the date on the packaging.
Yes, you can get Freshlooks in daily wear lenses. One wear, then throw them out. They are a good bit cheaper than the bi-weekly Freshlooks, and daily would probably be great for you since you don't intend to wear them all the time. Also, with the daily wear ones, you don't have to worry about cleaning and storing them like you will with bi-weekly or longer wear contacts.
You can buy your contacts at the eye doctor's office, but they are much, much cheaper online. Your eye doctor should give you a copy of your prescription, so that you can order online if you choose to. I get my Freshlooks from 1800contacts.com, and they are $30ish per box of 6 lenses...that will make 3 pairs for you if your vision is the same in both eyes. That price is for the bi-weekly Freshlooks. The Freshlook one-day wear ones are $14.99 per box at 1800contacts.com.

Hello,
1. It is better if you get your eyes checked before buying the contact lenses for the first time.
2. You can purchase monthly freshlook contacts at below $20.
3. Once the seal of contact lenses are opened you have to use it within the limit given by the company i.e 1 day or 30 days or 90 days etc.
Regards,
Status Eye Care.

thats sounds about right. no they wont last longer if you keep them in the container and you need to be strict about that - you shouldn't put things directly into your eye that are out of date!
£12 for 1 day is exactly that - 1 day - so sounds cheap but work out how many days is in 6 months and the other ones are cheaper!
yes they will check your eyes very thoroughly but then after that you can use any specsavers branch.
