Yes it does, because your breathing and respiratory systems health will steadily decrease, and excess fluid will create small pools in the bottom of your lungs. In other words, pneumonia will set in. Hopefully, you're not asking because you have bronchitis, because if you do, you should probably go get some antibiotics haha GL =)

I dont think it would be possible to turn into pnumonia but bronchitis can be treated by visiting a doctor and he or she will more than likely provide you with a nebulizer

Why don't you leave it untreated and find out. Yes, it does turn into pneumonia. Even worse, it could become walking pneumonia where you don't even know you're f**ked up for quite some time.
