Try reading a book. You might just find the book lying next to you when you wake up. Good luck! |

Sleepytime tea from celetial seasons is a good nighttime tea. It contains Chamomile.
Valerian tea is also good for making you sleepy without being tired out.
If you continue to have regular sleepless nights see your doctor. |

I have this tastic that helps for a while, but if you don't keep at it, sometimes it makes you start to worry without knowing it. {Sounds weird I know}
When you lie down, breathe slowly, and as you breathe in, speak to yourself or a loud, "in", and as you breathe out do the same. It dosen't always work, but it helps. |

Well i just read a very boring book, that normally does the trick. And stop worrying you are not going to change things by worrying about them are you. A glass warm milk, warm bath, and that book and you will be sleeping soon. |

Try journal ing just before you go to bed..write down everything that has happened throughout the day, your feelings, things you're worried about.......write until your mind is at ease or you get so sleepy you can't hold your eyes open.
Also, maybe take a relaxing bubble bath or a nice warm shower before you go to bed then if that doesn't work do the writing. |

I am a worry wart also. I have a question. What happens when you wait til your tired. Do you never sleep then? Anyway, I have 4 things I do. One systematically relax your body. Relax your forehead, relax your temples, relax any part of your body you can name, then acknowledge to yourself that you did it. Enjoy the sensation as you relax. I can put my two granddaughters to sleep in no time at all doing this. There not easy either. I start the process by saying to them, relax, become a cube of butter melting in the sun. Second, why don't you stop TRYING to avoid your worrying. My experience is when I am worrying and I worry about worrying, it is a vicious cycle. Just let those thoughts flow. It's OK to worry. Third thing I do is watch boring TV. Fourth is read and if I'm a little tired I'll go right to sleep. I should have said this first talk to someone, talk, talk, talk. |

try working out or running an hour or to before u go to bed but not to close to bed time becuse itll actualy wake u up a lil, but after the natural endorphine high on life thing comes down, u should be ready to fall right out. or allternitivly u could bludgin urself with a mallet. i think exersize is safer though |

try reading before you go to bed and consentrate on that while you fall asleep. yes you may have very odd dreams but you'll be asleep.
that or listen to music/ sounds. ocean or jungle. they help relax and keep you at bay.
also if you are a "worry wart" like me :) try writing it in a diary or word document if you are not into writting. it helps release stress and you can open up and say things you dont want others to hear . but you might want to hide them if you live with someone else. |

Check out L-Theanine which is a green tea extract. You'd probably have to drink too much green tea to take in the dosage in one capsule. Perhaps you should take one capsule during the day in order to control the worrying and then take a "booster" a half hour before bedtime. L-Theanine is available in health food stores. |
