I think you'll be okay. If you know you need your brain, you'll use your brain to avoid drugs. It's not easy to "just say no" so you can say all sorts of other things. First of all, don't be the girl who preaches against drugs because you may lose friends. Tell people you're on medicine that you know will react negatively with the drugs or something like that - or better yet, just say that you don't want to take drugs! You'll find that plenty of other people feel the same way you do. |

Um just say no. lol just b careful who ur friends are hang out with ppl who wont pressure you and accept your good values and stuff...when someone asks you just picture a hobo with no teeth passed out on the street. This will be YOU someday if you do these drugs. just keep that in mind. |

the only way to not do drugs
is to hangout with the kids in the library
or home school
even if you surround yourself with a 'good' group of kids.
drugs will always come up
your going to do drugs in high school
just dont do crack, meth or heroin
dont do coke either. its ridiculously addicting |

im going to high school too so i know what your talking about. the best thing to do is stay away from it and just say no. and talk about it with your friends and you and them can stick together and help each other out. |

All you have to do is think about ruining your life forever. Losing friends, family, being on the street, being in jail, or worse, being dead. You will pretty much be kissing your future goodbye if you even try drugs. If you need further proof, watch 'Intervention' on A&E. True, their addictions may vary, but no matter what, they always talk about how they lost everything due to choosing drugs/alcohol over everything else. That is what can happen to you. It may sound fun at the time. It may seem like a little bit of innocent fun. But that one night of fun, can turn into a life of pain, with no escape. So think about that when you are offered drugs. Believe me, I know the pressures, when I was in high school, I ended up having no friends because I refused to do drugs. But at least my life is not ruled by an addiction. At least my life is mine. |

If you don't really want to , then you probably won't. I would suggest you don't go to parties or hang out with your drug friends after school. Or hang out with people who don't do drugs. |

Do not believe that you will not be able to stay away from it. Whenever they come near you just keep reminding yourself that you are above them, you want to do something with you life. The first day of my high school career a girl came up to me asking to buy her drugs. |

1st - try your best to stay away from those types of people who carry and take drugs.
2nd- when you're offered one remember that you are killing yourself and just once will screw up your entire life.

Ask your parents, take health classes and ask your teacher, and learn whatever you can about drugs via the internet and the library. |

of course you will...you are worrying about it already! you know the harm of drugs, you know you want to avoid them, you just need to find the right friends. i went to a small rich school too and didnt fit in with any of the kids except a small group of down to earth kids who didnt act like they were rich. they may be the dorks, but they probably wont be doing drugs. |
