I made it! I'm 67 on 14th November [tomorrow] I was diagnosed with Aliens in my plumbing [Bowel Cancer] in 2001 and had 6 months of chemo after op, then it came back and was discovered in both my lungs and my liver in September 2005 so I had another 6 months of chemo, and now I've just started another 6 months of chemo. I'm not fussed about the cancer, it's a nuisance and 'in the way'. My avatar says it all. I usually get about 5 birthday cards, so this year it would be good to get 67 - here - some can be jokes because we're heavily into Tumour Humour in this household. But the main reason for this request is to make you all aware of the fact the Bowel Cancer may not have any symptoms - I was Stage 3 when I was diagnosed - so get informed and go to Cancerbackup.org.uk - they have a nurse you can e.mail if you are unsure or want advice, or Cancer Research UK or www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk - they have a nurse you can speak to for advice if you are unsure - free.
