I'm 25 and have lung cancer. It start in my hip and moved to my lungs about a year ago. I'm going on one year with it in my lungs and three years of soft-tissue sarcoma(not a good one to get). Most of my left lug is nothing but a dead tumor and my right lung has small tumors in it. I'm going on about a year and I honestly hope to have many more, but the truth is no one is the same and no one can tell you for sure. The key(or at least I think so) is to fight it with everything you got. If you give up then you not going to last and hell it's better to go down fighting. The reason I'm still around is that I've all ways taken the most aggressive treatment my body can handle. So, the answer isn't clear cut, but make what time you has good as you can. I maybe sick, but I love my life.

That question is hard to answer. Some people are diagnosed and dead within a month of the initial diagnosis others live for several months, even years {with treatment}. Ive known 4 people to die from lung cancer. One died within 2 months of finding out, another died 5 years after he started treatment, went into remission, relapsed, started treatment again, and eventually lost his life. The best chances to increase your life span with any cancer is to catch it as early as possible.

It depends on how far the cancer has spread. My husband was diagnosed March 20th he passed June 6th. We did radiation, chemo, gamma knife procedure, and a drug called tarceva. He had no symptoms. Good luck and God Bless

All cancers, not just lung cancer can be treated if found early. It will have to depend on the stage that it is at. Therefore, the prognosis differs. There is no straight answer for this one. Just know that once in stage 3 or 4, the prognosis is grim. Cancer has no mercy for anyone and it spreads like a 'wildfire'. So long as it hasn't reached the lymph nodes....the person may have a chance at fighting this.

it depends on it is good-natured or bad-natured. If it is good it probably can be healed. If it bad, then it depends on the status of the cancer. If it is developed and created new cancers in your body, then not to long time, 1week-3week. But as i told it depends on how old is your cancer.
